Kyle Walker-Peters is set for a long spell on the sidelines due to a hamstring injury. Out of frustration, Southampton manager Ralph Hasenhuttl, calls this a ‘never-ending story’ of injuries faced by the club. Walker-Peters couldn’t play till the end during the Premier League and faced a 2-1 defeat by Wolves as he had just returned to games from a thigh injury.
The player had missed four league games previously- which were all defeats before picking it up on Sunday. What concerns Hasenhuttl now is the selection at right-back, especially when midfielder James Ward-Prowse has dropped into defense during the concluding stages of the Wolves match. The frustration of the German concerning the absentee list was very much evident at St Marys. Hasenhuttl expressed that he wasn’t very much happy about all the injuries scenario.
