Kylian Mbappe scores twice as PSG takes down Reims, Messi also makes his debut

Lionel Messi made his debut for Paris Saint-Germain as a substitute in Ligue 1 as all eyes turned on the former Barcelona star who shook the whole football community with his decision to move. Though it was not Messi who stole the show by Kylian Mbappe working alongside Neymar, he scored a brace to help PSG to a 2-0 win against Reims.

The six-time Ballon d'Or winner might have to wait for his first start and his first goal till 11th September when PSG would host Clermont. Almost 21,000 fans awaited his debut after he joined the Ligue 1 side three weeks ago but the match was dominated by Mbappe. PSG is at the top of the table with 12 points from four games and are two points clear of Angers.
