Both Leganés and Levante came into Monday night's encounter at Butarque level on points in LaLiga, but it was the home side who continued their fantastic record at home by winning 1-0.
Leganes have not lost home since 16 September and those three points have taken Los Pepineros up to 11th in the table. The early minutes of the match were more notable for what was occurring in the stands as there was another Monday night protest, with Leganés' "singing section" remaining empty for the first five minutes.
They did not have to wait too long to see the game's only goal as Real Madrid loanee Oscar Rodrìguez gave the home side the lead.
There was controversy nine minutes from the end as Levante were disallowed what looked like a legitimate goal. In the build-up, Borja Mayoral jumped with Ivàn Cuéllar and that was deemed to be a foul.
