Lazio had an exceptional 3-0 triumph over Roma

Ciro Immobile and Luis Alberto nailed the show at the Stadio Olimpico.  The Biancocelesti had a phenomenal 3-0 triumph over Roma, their fierce rival. Unlike any other, it was a Derby Della Capitale. It was the first to ever be contested on a Friday. That too behind closed doors. But that doesn’t mean there was no zeal, on and off the pitch. Amid songs and smoke bombs, fans of both Roma and Lazio escorted the squad busses to the stadium.

After only 14 minutes, Manuel Lazzari, the right-winger, stole the ball off Roger Ibanez. That too in the Giallorossi’s penalty area. After this, he placed it perfectly for Ciro Immobile. He was the one who opened the scoring.  The intricate details usually do make the difference in the highly dramatic and tactical battle of rivalry matches.

Around this time, Lazio also did well out of Roma’s high defensive line.
