Lazio is almost on the edge of closing the deal for Marcos Antonio

The Brazilian midfielder, Marcos Antonio was enjoying his season in Ukraine until the Russian invasion started. With this, daily life and football came to a standstill in the country. Due to the invasion, transfers away from Ukrainian clubs are simpler. 

Lazio is very close to sealing a deal for Antonio and is ready to pay €8 million-plus €2 million in add-ons. They are expecting to close the deal soon with the 21-year-old player becoming the club’s first summer signing for the transfer. This young midfielder can play various roles in the center of the pitch, being comfortable in front of the defense. He has made 28 appearances across various competitions this season where he netted 3 goals and provided one assist.
