As reported by Italian radio broadcaster Radiosei (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) earlier today, it’s still unclear how many players will be called for the pre-season training retreat in Auronzo di Cadore, although it’s not expected to exceed 28.
The squad will depart for Auronzo on 10th July, but some top players may arrive a little later due to various international commitments.
Ciro Immobile and Francesco Acerbi are with the Azzurri squad until at least tomorrow evening, when they’ll face Spain in the Euro 2020 semi-finals. Should Italy win this match, they will play either England or Denmark in the finals on Sunday 11th July.
Joaquin Correa is also busy, being part of the Argentina squad that will face Colombia in the Copa America semi-finals on Wednesday night.
