Leeds failed to sign Harry Winks, Donny van de Beek

The January transfer window ends as does Leeds United’s chances of signing Tottenham star Harry Winks and Manchester United expert Donny van de Beek. The team dismissed the chance to make the move a reality as Marcelo Bielsa's side would play the rest of the season with no new signings and just one exit of Cody Drameh.

Leeds was actively looking for reinforcements this transfer season making contact with players and their agents. Their main area of concern heading into the latter part of the season was the centre-forward slot as Patrick Bamford’s injury left them stranded. Kalvin Phillips and Adam Forshaw have also had their run-in with injury. Still, the club could not officially add any player after the Van de Beek deal crashed at the last minute. Leeds would now have to bear the burden of injuries and stay clear of the red zone.
