Patrick Bamford scored the only goal for the night that led Leeds United to a 1-0 victory over Burnley in their Premier League clash on Sunday. The striker had previously criticized Sean Dyche and left the team to join Leeds scored against his former team when he was denied an early penalty by Nick Pope. Clarets next attempt was thawed as well when referee Rob Jones declared Ashley Barnes's goals as a foul and as a result lost for the first time in five games.
Bamford walked away happy at Elland Road and later shared the team defended exceptionally well even when Burnley was testing their physical strength again and again but Leeds was determined to win even if they played differently this time.
