Leeds United have inked a deal with RB Salzburg’s Rasmus Kristensen. The Premier League club added the Denmark international with a five-year deal and would officially be a part of the club from July 1. The 24-year-old is Leeds’ second summer signing after Brenden Aaronson. Both the player were part of the RB Salzburg’s club.
The deal is said to be around £8.5million, Leeds has not disclosed the final amount. Kristensen was also being pursued by Borussia Dortmund and Brentford as well. It was his performance that deemed him one of the most influential right-backs in Europe that caught the fancy of multiple clubs. Leeds is going to strengthen their squad, even more, this offseason after the relegation scare.
