Leeds United offers an injury update

Leeds United who have been caught in the whirlpool of injuries this season offers an update on the status of their key players as well as the date of their return. Leeds would welcome the upcoming winter break as they need the time to recuperate. Kalvin Phillips and Liam Cooper are expected to join the team in March while Leeds expects Jamie Shackleton and Charlie Cresswell to be part of the roster in either late January or early February.

Phillips and Cooper are dealing with hamstring injuries after December's game against Brentford which was the same issue with  Patrick Bamford but he is back on the field and even started training after he returned to fitness. Meanwhile, Leeds' other players Junior Firpo, Dan James, and Diego Llorente who were out due to different reasons like suspension and Covid-19 restrictions have also returned to the lineup as the team’s list of healthy players increases.
