LEEDS UNITED survived a narrow defeat. Cottagers finally recorded their first win back in the Premier League with a stimulating 4-3 victory at home to Fulham.
Leeds United took a lead in the fifth minute when Fulham was not able to clear the corner of Kalvin Phillips. This in turn unbridled a major shot from a tight angle that crashed in off the crossbar.
However, Robin Koch's defending proved to be a lifesaver for Leeds United. In the 13th minute especially, Koch's skills were exceptional as this German center-back was able to get in a last-ditch challenge on Michael Hector whose close-range header from a corner was eventually obviated behind.
Finally, Leeds United held on to record their first victory in the country's top flight for more than 16 years.
