Legia win the Polish Cup

Legia Warsaw put an end to a 'fast' at the level of the Polish Cup, which had lasted since 2018, by defeating RKS Raków, in the long-awaited final, played at Stadion Narodowy, in the penalty shoot-out.

A match that, however, had a start,, to forget, since, after just six minutes, the Portuguese Yuri Ribeiro received an expulsion order, for stopping an opponent who was still isolated towards the goal.

The null would end up being maintained until the end, both in regular time and in extra time, so it was necessary to resort to the 'trembling' from the 11-metre mark, where the team coached by Kosta Runjaic proved to be stronger.

Bartosz Szlisz, Maciej Rosolek, Rafal Augustyniak, Patryk Sokolowski, Pawel Wszolek and Maik Nawrocki made their respective attempts, while, on the other side, Mateusz Wdowiak's waste proved 'fatal'.
