Leicester City are locked in talks over the sale of Rachid Ghezzal, the Besiktas president Ahmet Nur Cebi has confirmed.
Cebi revealed to Turkish TV channel A Spor that they are hopeful of completing a deal for the Algerian who played a key role in helping Besiktas to the league title ahead of Fenerbache and Galatasaray.
And as a result of his performances, Besiktas now want to make his signing permanent as they prepare for the prospect of Champions League football next season.
Cebi said he remains confident of landing the 29-year-old, in quotes reported by Fanatik.
"I would like to keep this squad together for seasons to come as a president. For both Rachid Ghezzal and Valentin Rosier, we opened talks with their clubs. We are under no pressure, I am very relaxed. I hope both players will be with us for next season.”
