Leicester City sees off Brentford 2 - 1, to take all the three points

Leicester City hosted Brentford at the King Power Stadium to add all three points from the encounter to their scoreboard. Foxes took the lead in the eventful first half itself with goals from Timothy Castagne and James Maddison to enter the second half with a 2-0 advantage and a victory within reach.

Bees on the other hand had a hard time wasting great chances to come back and give Leicester a worthy fight during the entire match. Yoane Wissa did threaten once by reducing Foxes lead in half but Brentford could not get their hands on an equalizer as the mid-table teams fought with no real motivation to win the match. Brentford keeper David Raya was tested time and again by the Foxes in the second half but hosts did not create much trouble for the keeper as they rode out the regular time and the four minutes of added time to add the three points to their tally.
