Defender Jonny Evans signs a new contract with Leicester that ensures his presence till 2022-23 season. His current contract was supposed to expire at the end of the current season with the rumors suggesting he would move back to the Manchester United side where he bagged three Premier League titles. The 32-year-old moved from West Bromwich Albion to Leicester in 2018 and made 89 appearances since then for the Foxes.
The Northern Ireland international officially released a statement confirming the news and shared his delight on the subject as well, he further added that players are ambitious here and push each other forwards and he is glad to be a part of it here. His role in the Foxes defense side has been pivotal as they maintain their third position on the table.
