Leipzig fail to keep Adeyemi away from Borussia Dortmund

Not even Leipzig could change the player's mind with an offer that, according to 'Bild', exceeded that of the German club.

Karim Adeyemi has become one of the most prominent players in the Austrian Bundesliga. His performances for RB Salzburg, where he has scored 18 goals so far this season, have attracted the attention of many European clubs.

One of them was Borussia Dortmund, who seem to have everything in place to bring in the striker in the next transfer window. Not even a higher offer from Leipzig made the player change his mind about his future.

According to 'Bild', Leipzig put a higher offer on the table than the Black and Yellows, but to no avail. The striker wants to go to the Ruhr outfit to play alongside Erling Haaland or become his replacement.
