Lens defeats Montepellier in Ligue 1

Lens took the benefit of the lacking confidence of Montepellier and after losing three games out of five in Ligue 1 previous games, made it through this one, came to 6th position after defeating Montpellier. The wonderful start that favoured Lens was made by Franck Haise scoring early.

The Lens goalkeeper Jean-Louis Leca enjoyed the game while saving from Joris Chotard twice and Gaetan Laborde. Leca amazingly saved from Junior Sambia. Elye Wahi stood-off Steven Fortes and made a finish to Sambia for his second goal. Gael Kakuta made his Uber Eats Ligue 1 score to 9 for this season and gave comments about how much he enjoys football and his talents. Also in the previous eight games in Ligue 1, Montpellier did not win.
