Bailey has two years left on his Bayer Leverkusen deal but it is reported by the Daily Mail that Villa see the winger as an "attainable target" this summer.
Jamaican international, Bailey, would cost in the region of £25-£30million and he fits the profile of player Villa’s sporting director Johan Lange is searching for, with the club seemingly set to test Leverkusen’s resolve.
The exciting 23-year-old joined German Bundesliga club Leverkusen from Genk in 2017 and has repeatedly been on the radar of a number of clubs in England.
Bailey is currently on international duty with Jamaica, as his nation are competing at the CONCACAF gold Cup. He’s enjoying the best form of his career after scoring 15 goals and recording 11 assists in 40 appearances across all competitions last season for Leverkusen.
