Leon Goretzka might be Klopp's own Bellingham in Liverpool

Bayern manager Thomas Tuchel is apparently dissatisfied with the cohesiveness in the team's midfield this year, specifically with Leon Goretzka's play along with Joshua Kimmich. The German champions, who won their 11th straight Bundesliga title on a dramatic final day after Borussia Dortmund lost at home to Mainz, tested the 28-year-old with one of his most difficult seasons to date. Bayern has finalized the signing of Konrad Laimer on a free transfer from RB Leipzig, adding to Goretzka's worries over the significance of his job at the Allianz Arena.

The 50-cap German international does fit the bill for the type of central sensation the Reds need after fading this season, and he is comparable to Jude Bellingham, who was Klopp's top transfer target in the summer before the club gave up on the pursuit due to concerns over the deal's exorbitant price. The £36 million star is up for grabs, and Liverpool, under Jurgen Klopp, might be the best suitor for Goretzka despite their own struggles this year.
