Levante and Valladolid hold each other back in La Liga

Valladolid was on its way to victory until they conceded a late penalty kick to Levante that resulted in their near-miss to third back to back victory in La Liga. Valladolid already suffered from a lackluster performance at the start of the campaign that saw a winless run. As for Levante they put in just enough efforts to claim their fifth back-to-back 1-1 result which places them at the bottom of the league with no wins from eight matches.

Valladolid opened their score in the 57th minute with the help of Marcos Andre but an 83rd-minute penalty kick by Jose Campana helped the visitors level the score. Valladolid stands at 17th place after back to back wins against Athletic Bilbao and Granada and Levante are one point behind at 18th.
