Lewandowski scores fastest Champions League hat-trick ever

Doubting Robert Lewandowski's quality as a footballer is denying an obvious fact. At the age of 33, the striker keeps on breaking records.

Against Salzburg, the Pole once again banged in the goals. It was obvious the man was going to score, but he got a first half hat-trick and it was not just any old hat-trick.

Lewandowski wrote a new chapter in Champions League history. The number 9 scored three times in the first 23 minutes, beating the previous record and it is now the fastest in the competition's history.

Simone scored a hat-trick in the first 24 minutes for AC Milan away to Rosenborg back on 25th September 1996, but that record has finally been broken after 25 and a half years.
