After a 3-2 win over Girondins Bordeaux on Saturday, Paris Saint-Germain extended their lead at the top of Ligue 1 to ten points, thanks to two goals from Brazil star Neymar and another from Kylian Mbappe. PSG leads the table with 34 points from 13 games, one point ahead of second-placed Lens, who crushed Troyes 4-0 at home on Friday. Bordeaux remained in 16th place with 12 points.
As Ligue 1 leaders Paris St-Germain held off a late Bordeaux comeback to win, Neymar scored twice. After being spotted by Kylian Mbappe, Brazil forward scored in the first half, shooting into the bottom corner. For PSG's second goal, the two linked up once more, with Mbappe setting up Neymar for a goal from the edge of the box. Mbappe added a third, but Bordeaux set up a tense end with two late goals. PSG was once again without Lionel Messi, who is recovering from a muscular ailment.
