Ligue 1: Marseille won away to Bordeaux 1-0

Cengiz Under's first-half goal gave Marseille a 1-0 victory over Bordeaux in Ligue 1 for the first time since 1977. At an empty stadium in Bordeaux, the Turkey international punished goalkeeper Benoit Costil's bad kick by scoring the game's sole goal eight minutes before halftime. After league officials turned down their plea to postpone the match because of a slew of Covid-19 cases among the Bordeaux team, the home side decided to play it behind closed doors.

Marseille won for the first time in 37 attempts at Bordeaux, moving them over Nice into second place, 10 points behind champions Paris Saint-Germain. Bordeaux is barely one point clear of the relegation zone. This season, they have only won three times in 20 league games under former Switzerland coach Vladimir Petkovic.
