Lille 1-2 Lorient in French league

The French league staged the match between Lille and Lorient on Friday which marked the second defeat of the defending champions in five games. Lorient opened its winning count in the league emerging victorious over the Les Dogues 2-1 after five games in the campaign, conceding 11 goals so far. 

In the words of Lille defender and captain Jose Fonte, the team lacked confidence and aggression. Lille's defense lack was clear when forward Armand Lauriente succeeded to lead Lorient just after six minutes despite Turkey striker Burak Yilmaz scoring a penalty spot equalizer in the 24th. The winner was claimed in the 86th minute when Nigeria striker Terem Moffi slid in to meet a cross from the left. While Central defender Sven Botman was close enough for Lille in 72nd was saved brilliantly by goalkeeper Paul Nardi. Also, Paris Saint-Germain set to bag its fifth straight win facing Clermont on Saturday with the most anticipated Lionel Messi in action at Parc des Princes.
