Lionel Messi would not 'swap' Barcelona success for titles with Argentina

Messi's international career with La Albiceleste has been littered with disappointment, after losing four major international finals, including both World Cup and Copa America titles.

The 32-year old has frequently been pressed on his performances with the national team, even coming in for criticism from some sections of the Argentina fan base.

However he told an interview with TyC Sports, via Marca, that he has no regrets about how his international career has developed.

"Of course, I would love to have been a world champion with Argentina.But I don't think I would change anything in my career, just to alter that one thing".
