Liverpool stretches their winning streak to 3 games as the Premier League progresses, Having won the first two opening league matches of the season, The Gunners came in from behind and ran away with the lead through Alexandre Lacazette. Giving Arsenal a taste of defeat quite early in the season. And Liverpool soared high on the table with maximum points establishing early in the season that they aim to win the title again. The result would have been different had Mane received the red card instead of yellow in just three minutes.

Jurgen Klopp's side was quite sharper in this match and challenged Arsenal at every turn, Mane took the strike first from Trent Alexander-Arnold's cross. Robertson though costed the team when he served Ainsley Maitland-Niles's cross to Lacazette who scored over a helpless Alisson Becker. Klopp introduced a firework as well, Diogo Jota who made his debut for Liverpool and proved useful. And Liverpool ran away with the game with two more goals from Andy Robertson and Diogo Jota.
