Liverpool at 5th place, defeated Arsenal

Liverpool reached 5th position in the English Premier League after a triumph over Arsenal by 3-0 on Saturday. Diogo Jota scored 2 goals and Mohamed Salah added one more to hand three points to Liverpool. In the 1st hour, Liverpool dominated the field and the match and Jota made it count after 64 minutes when he was heading home to put the Reds in front. After 4 minutes, the lead was doubled by Salah with the solo effort, shrugged off Gabriel's tackle, and slid a right-footed shot at the near post past Bernd Leno.

In the 82nd minute, after the Arsenal giveaway in their half, Jota got his second goal after running onto a loose ball. After this win, Liverpool has 49 points from a total of 30 matches which makes them for the final Champions League spot, 2 points behind Chelsea.
