Liverpool close to attaining European Glory

Villarreal’s dreams of going to Paris were shattered after Liverpool came back to advance to Champions’ League Finals stage on a 5-2 aggregate. It was the addition of Liverpool's Colombian starlet Luis Diaz who inspired Liverpool to push past a determined Spanish side to get a chance at European Glory. Villarreal almost had the game in their hand at halftime after they successfully converted two goals in the first half to level the score 2-2.

Villarreal started considering the possibility of their first-ever Champions League final appearance but Klopp’s decision to bring in the Colombian International changed the momentum of the match in their favor as Díaz tore into the other side and Reds drilled three times in Villarreal’s net in under 12 minutes as Villarreal goalkeeper looked hopeless between the net.
