Liverpool finished third by beating Palace in Premier League

Liverpool booked their birth in the next season's UEFA Champions League with a five-match winning streak that placed them third on the table with their last victim being Crystal Palace who was beaten 2-0 at Anfield. Sadio Mane’s brace on either half of the match helped the Reds finish 2-0 and realize their dream to finish in the top four.

Mane’s first goal came at the right time just when their centre-backs suffered a head injury on the final matchday. In the second half, Liverpool came with the midset to maintain control rather than desperately seek another goal. But later Salah set up Mane to fire one in off Gary Cahill and they leapfrogged Chelsea as well who grabbed the last spot for the Champions League.
