Liverpool heaps more misery on Everton with derby win

Liverpool's win in the Merseyside derby helps them stay close to Manchester City in the Premier League title race with just one more month of action left in the season. The 2-0 win at Anfield also became Everton’s nightmare who are in the relegation zone now. The neighbor's 68-year stay in England's top flight is in major doubt now. Liverpool got second-half goals from Andrew Robertson and Divock Origi as they dismantled Everton’s hopes and Burnley has finally climbed out of the relegation zone.

It was another important win for Liverpool who is now one point behind City with only five games left in the title race now. The race seems to be destined to move to the final weekend now which would be all the more interesting now. In another match, Chelsea managed to grab third place with a 1-0 win over West Ham as Christian Pulisic netted the winner for the team, they are now five points clear of fourth-placed Arsenal.
