Liverpool linked with move for Real Madrid's Asensio

Asensio broke through into the first team and established himself as a key player under Zinedine Zidane, but saw his stock diminish under both Julen Lopetegui and Santiago Solari.

The Spaniard started just 15 of a possible 36 La Liga and Champions League games under the pair, featuring more prominently on Zidane's return in March.

However, El Desmarque (via Sport Witness) claimed that Liverpool are prepared to 'throw the house out the window' to sign Asensio.

Formerly the attacking-midfielder was linked with some other clubs throughout Europe as well, but he just wanted to play in a first-team, that's what he feels not to be able in Madrid.
