Liverpool made a comeback with 2-0 finish against RB Leipzig

After two back to back defeats in the Premier League, the champions made a comeback with 2-0 win against Bundesliga’s RB Leipzig in the Champions League on Tuesday . The first leg of Last 16 has commenced with Reds climbing their way forward to gain places in the quarter-final of Europe's elite knockout competition. Mo Salah and Sadio Mane scored in the second half to put them ahead and took advantage of Marcel Sabitzer and Nordi Mukiele’s mistakes respectively. Andrew Robertson takes his assists tally to 35 in 160 matches for Liverpool but his goal are rarely seen, the Scotland international netted just five times ever since his arrival and just once in CL.

Klopp was delighted with the win but is focusing on the Merseyside derby this weekend where they face Carlo Ancelotti’s side at Anfield in the Premier League.
