Liverpool missed out on a chance to go forth with Newcastle draw

Liverpool remained winless yet again and was held back by Newcastle to a 1-1 draw after Joe Willock's flying equalizer come in the 94th minute and made them face the harsh reality.  Jurgen Klopp’s men missed out on being a part of the Premier League top four yet again after surrendering at Anfield on Saturday.

Liverpool went ahead right at the start of the match when Mohamed Salah opened the score in 3 minutes and Liverpool later wasted many chances to extend their lead and in the end paid the price in stoppage time. Liverpool also saw Callum Wilson’s equalizer being ruled out by VAR.  While Magpies boosted their chances of survival by adding one more point to their tally in the close fight at the bottom.
