Liverpool secure Bradley as long-term replacement for Alexander-Arnold

The Reds confirmed that right-back Conor Bradley has signed a new long-term deal, solidifying his status as the natural successor to Trent Alexander-Arnold, who is set to join Real Madrid on a free transfer once his contract expires on 30 June.

The 21-year-old Northern Irishman has become a regular feature in the Liverpool line-up since last season and has made 27 appearances this term, despite being sidelined for spells due to injury.

His new deal, running until 2029, marks the first step in Liverpool's succession plan on the right side of defence as they prepare for life without Alexander-Arnold.

"I'm very proud and happy to have signed a new contract," Bradley told club media. "Now it's about keeping my head down and continuing to work hard. It's been a fantastic two years, and I hope we can keep going and create even more memories together."
