Liverpool want to keep Klopp and will speed up renewal

Jurgen Klopp has returned Liverpool to the big stages and to titles and the management of the English club seems not to want any more time and to renew the contract that only ends... in June 2024. The Times reveals, Thursday, that Mike Gordon, president of Fenway Sports Group (FSG), which owns Liverpool, traveled from the USA to England to watch the first leg of the Champions League semi-final against Villarreal and to follow up on Klopp's renewal .

The same publication also guarantees that Marc Kosicke, Klopp's agent, was also in the stands at Anfield, just a few places away from Mike Gordon.

It should be noted that Klopp arrived at Liverpool in the summer of 2015, having renewed his contract on two occasions.

If the desired new renewal materializes, Klopp will manage to be in the reds' technical command for 10 years.
