Juventus title hopes take a step back after the 1-0 defeat at the hands of Napoli. Juventus is contending this year for their 10th consecutive Serie A title but Lorenzo Insigne's first-half penalty saw Napoli to victory instead. Gennaro Gattuso’s side were missing key players and were up against the dominating side who has won last 9 of their 11 matches.
Giorgio Chiellini in his 400th Serie A appearance fouled Amir Rrahmani giving Napoli a chance to take a penalty which Insigne did not let it go to waste and put his side ahead. Juve were searching for an equalizer later on but had to settle for defeat with a great performance by goalkeeper Alex Meret. He fends off an attack by Federico Chisea and Alvaro Morata while others held off Cristiano Ronaldo’s side to climb closer to third placed team.
