LOSC 4-3 Monaco

Despite their superhuman efforts, Monaco succumbed to Lille (4-3) in the French Ligue matchday 13. Philippe Clement once again handed the Rouge et Blanc (Sixth) a stable hand, despite their undefeated streak in the league (six games). Despite the strong pressure from Breel Embolo (six goals, two assists) and Aleksandr Golovin (seven goals, two assists), the starting XI included Eliot Matazo (six goals, two assists), who was suspended for Aleksandr Golovin (7 goals, two assists). 

Adam Ounas challenged for the match but it was Wissam Ben Yedder who had the first encouraging chance, combining well with Golovin (7′). The Swiss striker took the ball down on his chest, but his cross was cleared (16′). LOSC pushed hard, as Tiago Djalo (84′) and Timothy Weah (91′) were close to adding goals.
