Lucas Alcaraz: Granada can beat Barcelona

The Andalusian club are back in the top flight after two seasons in the second tier and have seven points from their opening four games - winning each of their last two outings to nil.

They welcome a Blaugrana side who have just one point from their first two away games of the campaign and Alcaraz, who masterminded the 2014 victory, is eyeing another upset.

I do not like that my record has lasted so long, and it will be broken very soon,” Alcaraz explained on Radio Marca.

I would not like to be in Barcelona’s position because they played a tough match on Tuesday and are now coming to play a team who are in form and at home. Granada have a very strong team this season and have the possibilities of beating Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Real Madrid…everyone. They are very good both on an individual and a collective level”.
