Lyon signs Bayern’s midfielder Tolisso

The 27-year-old France midfielder was running out of contract at Bayern Munich. Lyon had earlier signed the player for 41.5 million euros ($43.4 million) in 2017. With the Bundesliga Giants, the player helped the side with five Bundesliga titles. Corentin Tolisso scored 21 goals in 118 appearances and impressed many with his passing and tackling skills.

The product of Lyon's youth academy suffered a blow during the 2018-19 season after rupturing the cruciate ligament but recovered later and continued playing on. With Lyon, he will now reunite with former teammate Lacazette. Lyon is strengthening their squad as they hope to land their first time since 2008, the team this season finished eighth and were way behind Paris Saint-Germain and their star-studded squad with Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappé, and Neymar.
