The Premier League champions Manchester City received a 4-3 victory against Newcastle United at St James’ Park on Friday night. The win was driven by the hat trick goals by Ferran Torres. In the first half, Newcastle United took the lead after two goals from Pep Guardiola’s side. Before that, Man City took the 2-1 lead after the 2 consecutive goals before half-time when Joao Cancelo turned home after an assist and Torres scored a net through a free-kick.
In the stoppage time of the first half, Nathan Ake fouled Joelinton and this was ruled by VAR. Joelinton converted his penalty to make the score 2-2. In the second half, Joseph Willock scored a goal for United in the 62nd minute, and after that Torres scored a brace, one as an equalizer and the other as a lead goal which turned into the victory of City.
