Man City's Guardiola closes door to coaching Barcelona again

Coaches also sometimes choose to leave despite having completed a good campaign, perhaps to leave a historic legacy that can never be tarnished, as Zinedine Zidane did after winning three consecutive Champions League titles at Real Madrid or Pep Guardiola, who left FC Barcelona having achieved a historic treble and placing the Catalan club arguably at the top of world football with his famous ‘tiki-taka’.

Since the Spanish coach's painful departure, the vast majority of ‘Cules’ fans have always wished to see him back in the Camp Nou dugout, something that has sparked rumours recently but which the former Bayern Munich coach has now put to rest.

The Manchester City coach, after being asked if it is possible that he could return to coach the Catalan club in the future, said that "the door" to a possible return to coach Barcelona "is closed".
