Man City’s Guardiola’s two-way profit deal for its midfielder’s departure

Manchester City has news to share about the 20-year-old potential leaving the team to join the Serie A club, Hellas Verona. The €7.5m deal is almost finalized for Ivan Ilic’s transfer with a twist in the final terms of the agreement pulled by the Sky Blues boss. Pep Guardiola seems to have second thoughts about Ivan’s one-way trade and thus, demanded a buy-back clause over the midfielder to maintain the hope for future association with the young potential.

Ilic who entered the Etihad Stadium for €2.5m from Red Star in 2017, had been obedient to the club including loan spells to former side, Zemun, NAC Breda, and Hellas Verona, now leaving the side without a single appearance for the team. His highlight performance for the Italians last season over 30 games was all over the news, also the reason why the citizens’ do not want a complete closure on the player while others pursue him as a summer target.
