Man United beat Brentford 3-1

Red Devils managed to turn around the game with goals by Anthony Elanga, Mason Greenwood and Marcus Rashford acquired a 3-1 win at Brentford to help the group’s desire to claim one of the top four spots in the Premier League.

Ralf Rangnick made a controversial decision and subbed Cristiano Ronaldo with 20 minutes left after Elanga, the 19-year-old winger beginning just his fourth Premier League match, brought back United in the game in the 55th minute. Brentford by then had squandered a large number of opportunities. Later it was Greenwood’s turn in the limelight with his first Premier League goal since October after he tapped in Bruno Fernandes' pass, to make it 2-0 in the 62nd. The last goal came from Rashford who scored in the 77th minute for the first League win of 2022.
