Man Utd have transfer funds for Bruno Fernandes

Manchester United may have distanced themselves from talk of a transfer deal for Bruno Fernandes in the past - but it appears that the Red Devils could be set to finally bring the Portugal international to the Premier League. The club can easily afford the players £85million release clause and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer must demand his signing if he’s to have any chance of steering the club back into the Champions League at the first time of asking.

Fernandes to Manchester United was one of the most talked about transfer deals of the summer window.

Portuguese media were adamant the 25-year-old would be on his way to England and Ole Trafford specifically - particularly with the Red Devils so eager to sign a playmaker.

Fernandes, with six goals and seven assists from 14 Primeira Liga matches this term, would definitely fit the bill.
