Manchester City forced a comeback against PSG to finish 2-1

The current Premier League leaders stay strong in the Champions League as well by taking a commanding position against Paris Saint-Germain in the semi-final first leg on Wednesday. City fought back to finish with 2-1 against PSG with goals by Kevin De Bruyne and Riyad Mahrez. PSG went ahead first with a Marquinhos header in the first half, but the team could not control a strong City from retaliating in the second half as City secured their 18th back-to-back wins across the competition.

De Bruyne and Mahrez found the net in just eight minutes into the second half. The previous season’s runner-ups would now have to work twice as hard in the second leg. Their trouble did not ease even for a minute they also saw off midfielder Idrissa Gueye leave them shorthanded in the 77th minute after picking up a red card for challenging Ilkay Gundogan.
