Manchester City look to 'capitalise on Antonio Rudiger's contract

Manchester City have reportedly lodged their interest in Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger, according to reports.

This comes as the Germans contract talks begin to stall with the central defender said to be 'resigned to leaving' according to The Athletic with Eurosport touting the Premier League champions as a potential suitor.

Currently Pep Guardiola has Ruben Dias, Aymeric Laporte, John Stones and Nathan Ake at his disposal in the central defensive department.

But with Rudiger's contract set to expire in June, City have joined the likes of Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, Juventus and Bayern Munich in the running for the 28-year-old.

Meanwhile, despite Guardiola remaining coy on the talks surrounding their struggles without a striker, it hasn't stopped the Blues being touted with another striker.
