Manchester City routed Burnley in FA Cup

Manchester City made light work of Burnley in the fourth round of the FA Cup, winning 5-0 at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday.

Pep Guardiola's side sealed their place in the Carabao Cup final in midweek against Burton Albion and signaled their intent on winning all four trophies this campaign.

City dominated from the off and Gabriel Jesus eventually opened the scoring on 23 minutes, with his eighth goal in nine matches.

The second goal arrived through Bernardo Silva shortly before a wonder strike from Kevin De Bruyne on the hour mark effectively put the game to bed.

Burnley defender Kevin Long then had a final 20 minutes to forget as he first scored an own goal for 4-0 on 73 minutes before committing a foul on Silva inside the area. Sergio Aguero made no mistake from the spot to seal another big win for Guardiola's side.
