Manchester City squeeze in one more win by beating Villa 2-1

Sky Blues stay strong at the top of the Premier League and get three more points to make their case rock solid by beating Aston Villa by 2-1. City first saw John Stones sent off early bruising their chances of winning the title early. City currently needs just eight points from five matches now to claim the crown now. John McGinn first stunned the visitors in 20 seconds and Villa took the lead early but a good fightback by City saw Phil Foden and Rodri turn the game around at Villa Park.

Matt Cash was also sent off in the second half making the team even. City had a tough week, beating Dortmund to advance ahead in the Champions League and later Chelsea defeated them in FA cup semi-finals. City still looked deadly and desperate for a win. Hosts are 11th on the table now.
