Manchester United beat Spurs 3-1

Edinson Cavani scored a winner for Manchester United to help beat Tottenham Hotspurs by 3-1 after his first-half goal was dismissed by VAR. The Red Devils have stretched their unbeaten Premier League away streak to 23 matches now. United were raging in the first half after Cavani’s goal was dismissed and lit fire in the second half with goals by Fred, Cavani, and Mason Greenwood. United now enjoys a good 7 point lead over Leicester City and stays second on the table while spurs find themselves seventh on the table and 6 points away from a top-four finish.

Spurs found an early opener with the 40th-minute goal by Son who pushed home a cross from Lucas Moura. After being down by 1-0 United came back stronger in the second half and first leveled in the 57th minute then Cavani put them ahead in 79th and Greenwood struck in stoppage time as well answering their 6-1 thumping by Spurs.
