Manchester United chasing Saul Niguez

The Red Devils boss Ole Gunnar Solskjær is leaving no stone unturned to strengthen and revamp his squad this transfer season. Looking at the efforts, he has been eyeing Atletico Madrid’s star Saul Niguez as a potential input. The 20-time English champions were ready to clinch a lucrative deal to sign the Spanish international a year ago, but the midfielder ended up staying at the Wanda Metropolitano.

Manchester United and their arch-rivals Liverpool are interested in luring the Spanish international, while Manchester United is in pole position to sign the La Roja star this summer. Saul's current contract with the Rojiblancos expires in 2026 and includes a £125 million buyout clause. The current La Liga winners, on the other hand, may offload him for roughly £35m-£40m.
